Beginner to Badass Season 1 was great. Huge turnout. Huge milestones. We had tears. We had bonding. We got better. Season 2 starts Tuesday, November 6th.
Brief
We’ll take you from beginner to badass in six weeks, providing you with all the knowledge needed to get stronger, fitter, faster. This series saves newbies time and coin by learning how to climb right the first time. This series also proves helpful for seasoned climbers looking to shake off the rust and get back into bouldering.
Logistics
NOSOTROS members participate free for the duration of the six classes. Those who are not members can reserve their spot by paying $20 for the clinic on our SHOP page - the link is also emboldened blue below. After payment, you are automatically enrolled. Once classes start, non-members will just need to purchase passes for each time we meet. You can get a Day Pass each Tuesday for $11.99. You can get a 10 Punch, that will cover all six classes - and then some - for $89. Or you can get one of our membership offerings. Any pass applies. Climbing shoes are $3 if you need to rent a pair. If you're looking to buy a pair, The Backpacker's Shop in Sheffield, REI in Beachwood, or SierraTradingPost.com, are all good.
Time
Each class will start at 7p. Classes last an hour and are taught by 7-year scaling stud, Cory Berry. Cory's a really solid guy. He's an engineer, he's super smart, he's great with people, he's got a big heart, and he's a huge climbing nerd, which I think make the best teachers.
Urgency
27 reservations were made within the first three days Season 1 was available. We're limiting Season 2 to 20 spots. Seven climbers from last season already preregistered for Season 2. Remaining slots will fill fast. Make haste.
Closing
If you're a NOSOTROS member who's interested, email us at goNOSOTROS@gmail.com and we'll add you to the headcount. If you're not a member, reserve your spot here.
