Our First Climbing Competition is 3/23!
Tell your momma you got plans Saturday, March 23rd. NOSOTROS is having it’s first climbing competition! With Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced winners, will you be dubbed Senor or Senora NOSOTROS?
Our robust team of route setters will be resetting the entire gym for this event. No one will advantage by seeing the climbing walls beforehand because the doors will be locked until check-in begins.
2P - Check-in. Stretch your body. Map your routes.
245P - Detailed competition instructions by Head Route Setter.
3P - Competition begins. All climbers in all skill levels will boulder together. Each route has a point value based on difficulty. Your goal is to score the highest points. Only your top three valued climbs will count. You’ll be given a score sheet for witnesses to sign. Very simple. Very non-intrusive.
6P - Competition ends. Party begins. While judges are tallying scores, we’ll have open climbing, food, music and high-fives.
7P - First, second and third place winners are announced in each Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced category - for both men and women. Nine individual place holders for men. Nine individuals for women. All winners awarded prizes.
8P - Closing time song by Semisonic is played because NOSOTROS is closing.

Note your shirt size if you paid the early-bird rate by MAR 9
Note your skill level. Beginners are VB-V1 climbers. That’s our white-green tape. Intermediate are V2-V5 climbers. That’s our yellow-orange tape. Advanced are V6+ climbers. That’s our pink-blue tape.
