Me vs. Coasters
Have you ever been challenged by an obstacle, and then see a little kid conquer it no problem? This was me every time I went to Cedar Point back in the day. I chickened out vs. roller coasters. It was embarrassing. People would ask me to ride and I pretended to be sick. "Oh, ah, no thanks, I've got a stomach ache. I'm just gonna' hang back." And then I would see a 5-year old in line. About to ride the ride I denied. When I saw that, I was like, dang.
Amanda vs. Halfpipe
In this old video, Amanda faced a similar situation. Kids were conquering that pipe left and right. I was like, "Amanda, go for it." And she did. And she showed zero quit. That's what I love about her. Zero quit.
You vs. Climbing Wall
You know we're about to be building this climbing wall. Some of you are all for it. Some of you are like heck no. Hey, when I finally turned 28, I faced my fears and now I love roller coasters. And when Amanda kept attacking that halfpipe, she prevailed. Do you know who fueled our motivation to win? Those lionhearted little kids. And if they can climb you can too.
Conclusion
Toddlers are fearless. Let them motivate you. You can conquer climbing. We'll have an easy bouldering section to make sure of it. Also, I was kidding about waiting till I was 28 to ride roller coasters. It was more like 14.
